I have written a small Java program that allows you to explore a 3D strange attractor attributed to Pickover. My documentation simply identifies it as the "Pickover B" attractor. The program uses GL4Java to allow direct access to OpenGL from Java. In order to use my program, you must download and install the GL4Java libraries. Here is a picture of one of the infinite number of 3D forms that can be generated interactively with this program.
This program is available as an executable for MacOS X. You can also download the full source code to the program and compile it for your platform.
